Last night two apartment buildings in Kharkiv were struck by a drone attack, killing four people and knocking out power to 350,000 residents.
Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine, had a large Jewish population for several decades prior to the invasion two years ago, but many people have fled as a result of the crisis. In recent months some people returned, hoping to reestablish their lives and rebuild the community.
Volunteers and rescue workers are working diligently to identify individuals who have been injured and assess property damage. As always, our staff are working hard to provide support and assistance to those in need.
