We wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving holiday. We have much for which to be grateful, even as many are suffering.
As we give thanks for our blessings and good fortune, we remember those who are less fortunate. Our hearts go out to those who are hurting, and to those whose loved ones were lost or injured, or are unwell. We also remember those whose lives have been upended, who lost their homes and/or are separated from family and friends. And we remember the courageous and dedicated leaders, staff, and volunteers who work tirelessly to help others. We give thanks to them.
We give thanks to all of our partners and supporters who make it possible for us to help the people of Ukraine. We are continuing to provide needed humanitarian aid every day, and we are also working to reestablish a sense of normalcy in the Jewish communities in Ukraine. We hope and pray for an end to the conflict sooner rather than later. Together we save lives and restore hope.
Happy Thanksgiving!
