Help for the Chernyak Family

NOVEMBER 21ST 2023

Nine months ago, the Chernyak family's home in Chernihiv was heavily damaged by a bomb. Determined to remain in their home and support the rebuilding efforts in the city, they have faced many challenges and learned to live under difficult conditions. With the recent drop in temperatures, the family of four was in desperate need of a water heater to be able to survive the winter.

JRNU was able to provide the Chernyak's a new electric water heater, for which they were most grateful! With your help we continue to save lives and restore hope.

Letter of Gratitude:

My name is Roman Borisovich Chernyak. I am a member of the Jewish community in Chernihiv, requesting your assistance in the purchase and installation of a water heater. On March 3, our apartment was destroyed after being hit by a bomb. Our city provides assistance to residents, but unfortunately the recovery and reconstruction process is very difficult. I have two children who have survived all these terrible events, but we are now in desperate need of immediate assistance. We would be grateful for any help. Your understanding is most appreciated.

Together we Save Lives and Restore Hope!
