Helping Children Who Need It Most

SEPTEMBER 9TH 2024

Karina, twice married, has a daughter Maya, born in 2013. Her ex-husband, Maya’s father, provides no support; he is unemployed. Karina has two children from her second marriage, Adelina (born in 2017) and David (born in 2019). Karina’s second husband also provides no support, as he is receiving treatment for a substance abuse problem. The children are not well, further complicating the situation: Maya has problems with her kidneys, Adelina has behavior issues (she is prone to severe tantrums), and David has severe incontinence, requiring him to wear diapers at night.

Unfortunately, Karina has challenges of her own. She does not work, preferring to rely exclusively on the compassion and generosity of others. Accordingly, aid must be provided in a manner that ensures the children receive the care and support they need; certificates are issued specifically identifying the children and can be used only for their benefit.

We continue to encourage Karina to make good decisions that will help her and her children, to create a stable environment and plan for the future. At the same time we are doing all we can to give the children the help they need.

With your help, we continue to save lives and restore hope.

Together we Save Lives and Restore Hope!
