Leadership Seminar to Support Ukrainian Youth

DECEMBER 30TH 2024

Last week, 16 counselors and 14 program coordinators from 13 Ukrainian cities participated in a leadership training sponsored by JRNU. The counselors and coordinators from the Ukrainian Jewish youth movement EnerJew, traveled to the Carpathian Mountains for this unique opportunity.  Under the leadership of Ms. Lena Kovalova, the seminars and activities provided the young professionals with valuable information and insight regarding the critical work they do supporting the country's youth. Ms. Lena Kovalova explained:

“Especially now, given the unique challenges facing Ukrainian Jewry, the importance of this seminar has grown significantly. Young people are yearning for a sense of belonging and stability, and our counselors and coordinators serve as their most natural address for support. Our leadership training provides these young adults the knowledge and motivation they need to provide a warm embrace and attentive ear to our youth.”

We continue to provide for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the Jews of Ukraine. With your support we continue our lifesaving work into 2025, ensuring no one is forgotten and no one is left behind.

Together we save lives and restore hope.
