The crisis in Kherson continues, with widespread flooding and evacuations. In addition, drinking water has become increasingly scarce in many regions far removed from the floods. JRNU staff and volunteers are working around the clock to help those directly impacted now, as well as plan for what might lie ahead. The synagogue in Kherson which is located on high ground, is serving as an aid station where volunteers meet with individuals to identify how best to address their needs. Additionally, food, water, clothes, and other supplies are being stockpiled in local warehouses; hotel rooms and apartments are being rented in Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia; and information is being shared throughout the communities to ensure everyone knows where to get help. We continue to save lives and restore hope, ensuring no one is left behind.
