New Update on Kherson Region -- Your Help is Needed

JUNE 12TH 2023

The Kherson flood has caused thousands of people to flee their homes and caused tremendous ecological damage for miles. Operating from a local synagogue that is situated on high ground, the rabbis, staff and volunteers from JRNU continue to provide desperately needed support, to all those in need. In addition to providing hot meals, food packages, medicine and clothing, families are being counseled on an individual basis, regarding available options. For those in need of immediate lodging, transportation is provided to hotels and apartments that have been rented for this purpose. Large amounts of food, water and other necessities are being delivered to warehouses for distribution to nearby communities that have been impacted due to supply chain disruptions. We are in immediate need of items with long shelf lives that can be stored until ready for delivery, including canned fish, meat, fruit and vegetables; baby formula, sugar, coffee, tea, energy and protein bars, baby formula, condensed milk, and cooking oil. Financial contributions to purchase these items within Ukraine or adjacent countries would be greatly appreciated.

With your support we continue to save lives and restore hope.

Together we Save Lives and Restore Hope!
