Thanks to our partnership with the leading non-profit optical organization, Restoring Vision, thousands of Ukrainians will be able to see clearly, allowing them to work and carry out essential daily activities.
We are proud to be included among the many humanitarian aid organizations that receive high quality glasses from the world's largest optical companies. This year, Restoring Vision will reach 4 million people, transforming lives with clear vision.
Prior to receiving the shipment of tens of thousands of glasses, our staff prepared detailed lists of the quantities of distance and reading glasses needed for each community around the country. In addition, we are working with other aid organizations and medical providers in Ukraine to reach thousands more people whose glasses were lost or destroyed.
We are grateful to Restoring Vision for their commitment to empowering people in Ukraine and around the world, by restoring the ability to see. Through their compassion and dedication, Restoring Vision has already helped 28 million people in 147 countries, and those numbers are growing each day. The glasses make an enormous difference to each recipient, and they serve as a powerful reminder that the world has not forgotten about the people suffering in Ukraine.
