Special Prayers for the People of Ukraine

JULY 20TH 2023

For the third night in a row, residents were awakened by sirens and blasts, as the port city of Odessa was struck by missiles and mortars. Commercial and residential buildings were hit, igniting a large fire that killed one person.

Mykolayiv was also attacked, with heavy shelling in the city's center, just a few blocks from the local synagogue. At least five residential buildings were damaged, and windows were blown out of more structures. Nineteen people have been wounded, including five children.

While the war no longer features prominently in daily headline news in the United States, the suffering in Ukraine continues; people live with stress, fear and uncertainty, each and every day. With your support we continue to save lives and restore hope.

Together we Save Lives and Restore Hope!
