Mykhailo, 18, is a wonderful young man who is autistic. He is enrolled in the 9th grade at a boarding school in Prybuzh where he receives specialized education and treatment to encourage his continued development. In particular, speech therapy is a critical need; Mykhailo meets with a speech pathologist regularly to work on his language skills. In addition, Mykhailo receives ongoing training in self-care skills, with the goal of one day becoming self-sufficient.
We help Mykhailo and his family address their unique challenges as well as providing humanitarian aid that we distribute to Jewish communities throughout Ukraine. The families of Ukraine continue to endure extremely difficult circumstances, as the crisis extends beyond the 2 ½ year mark. With your support we are able to assist them with their physical, mental and spiritual needs.
