Over the past few weeks there have been encouraging reports of a potential ceasefire in the region, to end 3 years of tragedy and chaos. But for now, the crisis continues. Last night a massive drone strike on Kyiv killed three people including a 5-year-old girl and her father. An 80-year-old woman was killed when her 9th floor apartment caught fire. Ten other people were injured in the attack when more than 150 drones struck residential buildings in the capital city. Other regions were targeted as well, including Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Odessa; the Donetsk region was also hit, killing four people.
Just days before, Odessa was the target of drone attacks, along with Zaporizhzhia where three family members were killed.
