The War Rages On and Our Support Continues

JULY 7TH 2023

The war in Ukraine marches on and the humanitarian crisis continues to grow.

*At least 62,295 people have DIED
*At least 60,117 people SUFFERED NON FATAL INJURIES
*At least 15,000 people are MISSING
*Approximately 17M people are DISPLACED
*At least 140,000 BUILDINGS DESTROYED
*Approximately $411B in PROPERTY DAMAGE

*According to Reuter's News Service

Ukraine’s financial and human resources have been decimated, causing poverty to skyrocket from 2 percent to 25 percent of the population.

Thanks to support from organizations and individuals from around the world, we continue to provide life saving support to thousands of men, women and children each month:

“The historians of our generation will write about this period as the first time ever that a crisis broke out in Europe and being a Jew did not mean you were a victim, but that there was an infrastructure in place to rescue and care for you,” Eric Fingerhut, president and CEO of the Jewish Federations of North America.

We hope and pray for an end to the war very soon.  Then we will help people rebuild their lives and communities.

Together we Save Lives and Restore Hope!
