The past few weeks have been especially difficult for the people of Ukraine. In addition to the cold winter weather that threatens the survival of elderly and infirm individuals, there have been relentless attacks in many cities that damaged and destroyed homes and other buildings. Yet life must go on, and so must our help and support of thousands of people around the country. We continue regular distributions of food, fuel, warm clothing and medications as well as coordination of medical care and social services.
