The people of Ukraine are facing a cold and dark winter, once again. Temperatures have dropped into the teens at night, and it is only slightly warmer during the day. In recent weeks, the power supply has been interrupted often, leaving people without heat and light. We have been working diligently to distribute firewood and emergency winter items, including flash lights, thermoses, battery packs, warm clothes, bed linens and much more.
The food and medicine we deliver is a lifeline for thousands of people, including families who were displaced from their homes in Mariupol in the early days of the war. In the village of Sursko-Litovsk, in the Dnipro Region, Liliya cares for her 3-year old granddaughter, Sonya, by herself, while her husband serves in the military. The support from JRNU is their only means of survival.
With your help we continue to save lives and restore hope.
