For the past 3 years, many giving and caring people have donated funds to help the Jews of Ukraine. When the crisis began we would not have imagined it would continue for so long; today things are as uncertain as ever.
Thanks to your ongoing support, Jewish Relief Network Ukraine has been providing critical aid to tens of thousands of people who are very much in need. We help Masha, the little girl from Kherson whose mother could not care for her; we help the Markov family, from the village of Semenivka who had to flee their home with little more than the clothes on their backs; and we help thousands of others just like them.
Recently, we received a gift from a couple who have been assisting the Zhitomer orphanage (temporarily relocated to Ashkelon, Israel) for more than 2 years; they even visited with them in person! The funds were specifically directed for the purchase of Purim gifts for the children that we arranged through a local vendor, and included personalized holiday greetings from the gracious donors. The video and pictures below depict the children's joy and happiness after receiving the wonderful gifts, along with their heartfelt thanks.
